Primary School spans six years under the Competency-Based Curriculum, from Lower Primary through Upper Primary. Learners study Mathematics, English, Kiswahili, Science and Technology, Social Studies, Religious Education, Agriculture and Creative Arts, alongside Physical Education, with an emphasis on applying what is learned rather than memorising it for an exam.
At Kahuho, Primary is where academic foundations are consolidated and learners are given more responsibility, for their own work, for group tasks and for how they treat one another, ahead of the move into Junior Secondary.
